Every element in this one-of-a-kind SUV has been completely redesigned and reimagined for the new model year, and now that details are available, we know that many Port Washington and Roslyn drivers will be itching to get behind the wheel. Highlights of the 2024 Lexus GX Redesign

Without further ado, let’s dive in to see what you can expect from the latest and greatest GX SUV.

2024 Lexus GX Exterior

• Body Design: The 2024 Lexus GX has an all-new exterior, and the new square-body design looks more rugged than ever. The sharp, clean lines of the exterior give this SUV an almost-crystalline look and feel, and the A-pillars have been moved back to provide a better view of the road ahead.
• Dimensions: The overall width of the new GX increases by 3.74 to 4.52 inches, depending on your choice of trim. The wheelbase is 2.36 inches longer than before, and ground clearance has also been improved across the model range.
• Color Options: No fewer than eleven different exterior colors have been made available across the lineup. Additionally, both the Overtrail and Overtrail+ trims are available with bi-tone exterior color combinations that feature a striking blacked-out roof.

2024 Lexus GX Interior

• Seating Capacity: With seating for either six or seven and up to twelve cupholders spaced out across the cabin, the 2024 GX is ideally suited for family road trips and long-distance adventures.
• Infotainment Layout: The 2024 model features a new layout for the infotainment system. The touchscreen, which still includes physical knobs for your most-used controls, now sits lower than before. Off-road controls are placed near the gear shift for optimum usability. With or without the available Head-Up Display, you’ll feel as though you have the whole world at your fingertips.
• Infotainment Features: The range of standard interior features includes just about everything you could ask for, including a 14-inch Multimedia Touchscreen Display, wireless Apple CarPlay® Integration, Android Auto® compatibility, a digital 12.3 Multi-Information Display, and much more. Depending on your choice of trim, you’ll also receive a 10-speaker premium surround sound system or 21- Speaker Mark Levinson Surround Sound.
• Color Options: Interior colors like Black, Dapple Gray, and Saddle Tan are now available for both upholstery types: semi-aniline leather and NuLuxe® synthetic leather.
• Cargo Space: Storage space has been increased across the cabin. The 2024 Lexus GX has a larger cargo area than before, and the center console is more accommodating as well.

2024 Lexus GX Performance

• Off-Road: Those who want to hit the trails will continue to gravitate toward the all-new GX. Standard Full-Time 4WD, a Torsen® limited-slip center differential, and body-on-frame construction make this large SUV a formidable force on the backroads. Overtrail configurations go even further, adding features like 33-inch all-terrain tires and an electronic locking differential.
• Under the Hood: The 2024 Lexus GX will initially be offered only with a traditional gas-powered engine, although a hybrid model will become available at a later date. We’re still waiting on details for the latter option, but we do know that the standard 3.4L V6 engine will output 349 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. Those are significant improvements over the outgoing model.
• Safety Features: With Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 as a standard inclusion, you’ll feel confident that you can handle any adventure.
