Steps to Program Lexus Garage Door Opener

Before you begin the process of a Lexus garage door reset or Lexus HomeLink® programming, you’ll need your car or SUV in your Roslyn driveway or garage to pair the Homelink® system properly. Additionally, you’ll need a standard garage door opener. When you’re ready to go, follow these directions on how to program a Lexus garage door opener:

1. Find the three Lexus Homelink® programming buttons in the front seat of your car. Check the rearview mirror or overhead console.
2. Press and hold buttons 1 and 3 at the same time until you notice the Homelink® indicator light turn green and begin to flash. Release both buttons.
3. Grab your garage door remote and hold it close to the buttons.
4. Press and hold the garage door remover button and first Homelink® button at the same light. Once again, wait until the light turns green and flashes before releasing the button.
5. Find the garage door control box in your garage and look for a red or black square button labeled “Learn Button.”
6. Press the “Learn Button” and get back in the car. You’ll need to press the first Homelink® within 30 seconds to sync the two.
7. If your garage door activates, you’ve successfully paired your Lexus garage door opener to your Homelink® system.
